Mr. and Mrs. Crane…

The adventures continue in my neighborhood, and for Christmas this year I am hoping the woodland creatures all take care putting lights on our trees, trimming the pine trees in both lights and ornaments, and putting twinkling, tinsel lights all around our roof. Cinderella may have had a monopoly on useful mice, but I have a zoo of critters at my beck and call.

OK, that’s not true, but every day brings new encounters with spectacular creatures, large and small. About midnight last night our local Barred Owl began calling, or hooting. When they are perched about 15’ from the bedroom windows, and the windows are open, they are so loud you about fall out of bed. Currently I have just returned from running errands only to have these two hogging the road.

As a rule of thumb, I work in an abstract improv style. While I do not often work in realism, I may have to turn more of my photos into realistic work.
