Quilting through my Jazz quilts…

I began quilting this back towards the end of May, finished part of it, then set it aside to create a custom piece for a client. It is exciting when that happens, and I love creating custom work for people. Now finished, this just needs a sleeve and label. I actually love, love, LOVE these little gems. They are, indeed, a 9-patch if you’re thinking that’s what you see…just a modern take. Below is Jazz 103 and was started when I was sewing in the dining room, and my “design wall” was a pink slab of insulation set up next to our front door. It was a little awkward, yes, but it kept me motivated!
