Jazz Quilt 201

I love working in a series, and yes, I’m still on a roll to try and finish all 9 Jazz Quilts by spring, when mornings will be spent in the garden. I’m a creature of habit: Coffee - garden - lunch - STUDIO! If you don’t live in a place that has four distinct seasons, I envy you a bit. Winter…meh! When my grandparents retired to Sun City, Arizona, the only thing that my grandmother said she missed was seeing the tulips pop up in spring. She spent almost her entire life in the midwestern United States, but eventually came to love ‘spring’ in the dessert area. Cactus bloom! Her backyard orange and lemon trees would bloom in April and fill the air with the most heavenly scent. At the moment, I can hear her lilting voice in my head saying, “Just get it done, sweetie!” and since it’s 14°F that’s exactly what I’m doing.
