2-Color Works…

I have been composing a series of 2-color works that are a much larger scale than I have worked with recently. By scale, I mean the shapes within the art, and not the finished work itself. I honestly have no idea what size it will be when complete, as is often the case when working with improv.

The shapes began as actual letters of both the English and Hebrew alphabet (Aleph-Bet Ivri) in alternating colors. For me, this simply means that some of the letters of each are yellow with blue “background” and others are the reverse of that, blue letters on yellow background. Essentially, the figures represent writing/communication without actually being anything someone could read. Not entirely sure I am successful in this “communication” series yet but will keep working on it.
