Almost Happy New Year!
Who knew that dust from fabric could take on a life of its’ own? In the past I’ve had dust bunnies under the living room couch, but I have a herd of buffalo dust balls in my studio that are forming a union. The studio cleaning is almost completed, and I have a large box of fabric to be donated to a local group that sews breast cancer shoulder pillows. After medical procedures, many patients stop wearing seat belts because of the pain. This was true for my own mother after open-heart surgery. These shoulder pillows are used to protect the chest (after heart surgery) and the breast area (after biopsies or surgery). It feels good to have a clear-out, especially when fabric can go to a good cause.
See you next year and be safe when you’re out celebrating!
Cheers!
